So today as I was going through my friends' Snapchat stories, I noticed this person's story where she was celebrating her birthday. She took nearly 15 snaps and 3-4 videos of her cutting the cake, getting surprised, posing with balloons. She seemed happy. But here's the thing that I noticed, maybe you would've noticed too but she did not. Why do we click pictures? A simple answer would be to capture moments, so that in the future we can relive them. But, hey. If you do not live the moments and instead keep capturing them, how do you expect yourself to relive them? I get it that you want to let others know that it's your birthday, your friends have surprised you, they've brought a cake and all and you're really liking it. But come on, open your eyes! Live these moments instead of taking videos of your friends wishing you out of nowhere.
